Dafür sollen sie Beide gross gemacht werden. Auch die Scenen mit dem englischen Solicitor Freskville, anzuschauen wie das feine Bild eines alten Mannes in einem Castle, u. vieles Andre sehr curios. Die Bilder gehen zu schnell vorbei   Auf der Ueberfahrt von Dover nach Ostende sprach ich mit Wolffsohn darüber, für wie selbstverständlich u. leicht man späterhin diese Bankgründung halten wird, die uns jetzt so viele Opfer kostet. Wir drei, Wolffsohn, Kann u. ich strecken die Gründungskosten

In contrast, Wolffsohn, and next to him young Kann from the Hague, have been excellent, steadfast, loyal, adroit. For this both of them shall be made great.

 

Also, the scenes with the English Solicitor Freskville, in appearance like the fine picture of an old man in a castle  and many other things were very curious.

 

The impressions pass by too fast.

 

On the crossing from Dover to Ostend I spoke with Wolffsohn about how obvious and easy the founding of this Bank, which is now costing us so many sacrifices, will be considered later. We three, Wolffsohn, Kann, and I, are advancing the founding costs.

לעומתם וולפסון - מעולה, יציב, נאמן, יעיל - ולצדו קאן הצעיר מהאג. תמורת זה צריך להעלות את שניהם לגדולה.

 

וגם הסצֵנות עם הסוֹליסיטוֹר האנגלי פרֶסקוויל, להתבונן בו כבציור מעודן של איש זקן היושב בתוך ארמון, ועוד דברים הרבה, משונים מאוד.

 

התמונות חולפות מהר מדי.

 

בשעת חציית התעלה מדוֹבֶר לאוֹסטֶנדֶה דיברתי עם וולפסון על כך שייסוד הבנק, העולה לנו במעשי הקרבה רבים כל־כך, ייראה בעתיד דבר פשוט ומובן מאליו. שלושתנו, וולפסון קאן ואנוכי, משלמים מראש את הוצאות הייסוּד.
