Sie haben mit Hilfe der Herren der Expedition die Gelegenheiten u[nd] Möglichkeiten einer ländlichen sowol wie städtischen Besied= lung des zwischen dem Suezkanal u[nd] der türkischen Grenze am Mittelmeer gelegenen Gebietes sowie dessen Hinter= landes zu untersuchen u[nd] festzu= stellen. Der einzuschlagende Weg ist zunächst von dem Aufbruchs orte Ismailia oder El Kantara nach dem Sirbonischen See.

You will be kind enough to follow the instructions given you, to the extent that conditions which cannot be foreseen in detail permit.

 

It will be your assignment to investigate and determine, with the help of the gentlemen of the expedition, the opportunities and possibilities for rural as well as urban colonization of the territory located on the Mediterranean between the Suez Canal and the Turkish border, as well as of its hinterland.

 

The route to be taken is, to begin with, from the point of departure, Ismailia or El Kantara, to the Lake of Sirbonia.

עליך לבדוק ולקבוע בעזרת האדונים שבמשלחת את האפשרויות של התיישבות כפרית ועירונית באזור הים־תיכוני שבין תעלת סואץ לגבול הטורקי ובהינטֶרלאנד שלו.

המסלול יתחיל ממקום היציאה אסמעיליה או אל־קנטרה אל ימת בַּרדאוויל.
