 In Palestine’s disfavor is its proximity to Russia and Europe, its lack of room for expansion as well as its climate, which we are no longer accustomed to.

הנימוקים נגד ארץ־ישראל הם קרבתה של רוסיה ושל אירופה, מגבלות השטח וכן האקלים שכבר נגמלנו ממנו.

בעד: האגדה אדירת־הכוח.

בתחילה יסייעו לנו האנטישמים על־ידי הגברת הרדיפות (שהרי אני משוכנע שאין הם מצפים שנצליח, וירצו לנצל את "כיבושיהם").

אפשרות של ויתור נוסף בעניין הגירת הרכוש.

המדינות ירכשו את הנכסים דלא־ניידי של היהודים.

את המחיר, בלי התייחסות למה ששילמנו אנו, תקבע ועדה מסדרת שגם אנו נוכל להשתתף בה.
